The correct radiator cap is a 15psi issue not 16 as is fitted. CPC 534/15 is the part number of the correct one, which you can pick up at Repco, Supercheapautos etc.
noted, I've got to get a fuel filter tomorrow, so I'll grab one then. Do you know if there is a ryco fuel filter to suit as well?
The engine tie rod bushes are the same as fitted to the steering damper on the Rover V8 powered Range Rovers if my memory serves me correctly. Pop into your local Land/Range Rover spares centre, they will have them.
see below
There is indeed a rubber bush that fits in the bracket to locate the accelerator linkage. Rover Classics have them, there are two needed, one for the bracket on the manifold too.
I thought so, excellent, I'll order some asap
The cable ties look very bodgy. The rubber bush or rather bearing as it is called as I mentioned above goes into the bracket just there. I imagine once fitted, the cable ties which appear to be securing a piece of rubber hose, will be redundant.
There was no vacuum hose fitted there as standard, but if you wanted to run a vacuum gauge you could run the hose from there. Normally there is just a bolt there without the banjo fitting.
so should there be a little "condom" - for want of a better word to block off that vacuum fitting or just leave it as is?
I am not sure where your spill return hose is meant to be routed as I have not seen one before coming off the n/s carb to have a good squizz at. The bracket looks as if it goes where you indicated.
see pics (because we all love pictures! )

The engine tie rod..pointed too with red arrows, retains the engine from placing too much tension on the n/s engine mount, which would see it fail in a short space of time without it.
The black tube pointed too with purple arrows is the transmission breather tube. Should the transmission be overfilled then the fluid can exit via the breather, although that is not a reason to allow it to be overfilled.

Any particular year/model I should be looking for?

I don't know... :? When I last went to TR Spares here in Sydney and purchased some, I told them what it was for and described them and from that they produced the bushes,..made for the job.. You would be quite surprised just how many parts actually run across from the P6B to the Range Rovers, right up until 2004.

harveyp6 said:That's the choke cable, and it shouldn't be behind the loom on the wing, it should just come through next to the brake reservoir somewhere and over the aircleaner.
harveyp6 said:The spill return normally clips to brackets that fit on the inner rocker cover screws.
The bracket you show on that pipe looks like the ones that fit on the forward inlet manifold bolts to hold the carb overflow pipes.
This being a reference to the choke cable.Does anyone have a nice clear shot of this?
