With regret I am selling my 2000 tc due to ongoing health issues in my family.
My car is just sitting in the garage and I hate to see it not getting used.
I hope things will turn out for the best by next year and I will be looking out for another p6
Kevin
Well pleased with the car passing the mot today with only one advisory which was
the flag pointed forwards and not backwards on the quarter panel :D :D :D
I got some of the panels off to have a good look what work needs to be done, as you can see it needs a fair bit of welding.
I have decided to do it up, I know it will not be cost effective
I am going to take my time to do the work as I am in no hurry to finish her.
I got first prize at Prestatyn car show
I thought my car would have no chance of a prize due to the competition.
I got a cup to keep for 12 months :D

I have just fitted a replacement engine. When I put in the new engine all went well, engine engaged with gearbox with ease, I bolted it all in fitted all the auxiliary, I then tried to turn the engine by hand to check the timing. but it will not turn.

I been trying to set up the carbs on my 73 2000tc but with no success.
I took it to a garage and they could not get the carbs sorted, so they did a compression check which revealed number 3 has a burnt valve :( .

My 2000tc was making a hissing noise on my last outing, I thought it might be the manifold gasket but as you can see it has a cracked manifold. What is the best way of fixing it :?:
