looks like this has turned into a full restoration !
Anyhoo
Yes it is, but it was never supposed to be.
Unfortunately, the underseal was hiding more than I thought it was. 'Never welded, rot free' - yeah right  .
Both ends of both sills are rotted through. Not badly, but enough to make the repair quite complicated. The driver's floor is holed, both rear wheel arches need work, there is a small rust hole in the back of the upper D post, and the inner wing channel is rotted through on both sides along with the hockey stick under it.
So not much really, but it does mean that all of the underseal has to come off if I am ever to be confident of catching the tin worm before it gets too firm a grip. I have found that there is no cavity protection on it even though I was informed that it had been dinitrolled (is that a word?) So it's a case of removing underseal, cutting out and welding up all of the little rotten bits, resealing it with an epoxy, and treating it all with dinitrol. As most of it is underneath I have had a jig made to fit the P6B. Will be for sale after I have finished with it 8)
