Looking very good Pepijn! Did you ask here for the Rostyles? I have a spare set I'd like to sell... But anyway, you have them now so you're sorted.
There were silver boats on early cars then they were all gold. When they were reproduced years ago both types were made, although the gold ship is much more common. I have been after a new insert where did you find this one? If you restore your original and don’t use the new I would be interested in buying.off course the work continues:
door inplace:
rearquarterpanel in place:
slowly it is coming together! Still waiting on my brakes. Mark Gray got mine more than two weeks ago but still no sign of the new resleeved ones.... Is it normal that it takes that long?
I a also trying to restore the bootlid badge. It had faded and I already bought a new insert for it but the colours look slightly off.... No problem but I would really like to try the restore the origanl one. Does anybody know the colour codes of the colours used in the badge??

Would it be a problem to have the smaller heater connection fitted?
Yess they were on Marktplaats. took the doors bonnet and the steeringwheel and the rockercovers. Those covers were not listed om marktplaats but he had them lying around.Very nice! Steering wheel looks great. They were on marktplaats, weren't they?
Can't help you with your question regarding the inlet manifold though...
Thank you Harvey. The bigger one was actually on the older manifold and the smaller on the newer one of the efi. I saw in the parts manual that the hose to the manifold was quite thin except for the and to accept the bigger fitting. So I thopught the bigger fitting has no advantage since the hose is the smaller diameter anyway. No, as long as you get the hose connections fitted correctly. I think the later engines got the bigget fitting, and bigger ended hose to match it, so that mixing up the connections was more difficult. Bottom on engine to top on heater, top on engine to bottom on heater.
