That's my old Almond girl, fancy spotting her while reading through theses posts. It's a lovely car and well worth a look. I spent quite a bit of money on her whilst in my ownership including a complete overhaul of the gearbox and i replaced all the wings and a doorskin,She's a nice solid...

P6 Spotted For Sale. Can Anyone Save It

Spotted this tired old girl for sale last week in Lowestoft, The seller is asking £550. She looks very sorry for herself and has been there some time, so i'm told. The advert stuck on the gate states the car is an SC but the grill shows TC, the advert also states the price is £650, so i dont...

    hidden P6's on ebay

I used to own that White 2200sc, I still have a set of keys for it somewhere. I also had a black carpet professionally fitted in it aswell, it looks bloody filthy now. Whats happened to the door cards. It was spotless when I sold it. :(

    Rover 2000TC 1971 For sale

I remember seeing this car driving about when I worked in chadwell Heath. It used to come up the london road on a regular basis, that must be at least 10 to 15 years ago. If I had the space and money I would have it. But it's just the wrong time for me I'm afraid. please don't scrap her, why...

    Sill's painted and back on.

I had a look at some of your pics and you can see a difference in height on the two outside your garage.( it's a lovely car and from your posts I can see you've put many hours of attention into her). I have loads of tools and some spares in my boot also so I will take that all out. The problem...

    Sill's painted and back on.

Cheers, Wasn't sure I liked the colour when I bought her but I quite like it now, ( the wife thinks it's a funny colour) I think some nice wheels would make it look better, just can't decide on what to go for ?

    Sill's painted and back on.

Thanks Rich, yes their not to bad, I'm just a bit fussy really. My dads p6 was always in mint condition when I was a kid, I just like the thought of mine being the same. :P

    Sill's painted and back on.

Thanks Frazzle, If they are cheap you could give them a try, I think I have seen some on eBay in the past but I have never seen them up close. I think I would hold out for some good metal examples. If you can get nice straight ones and paint them up they do look nice. They are quite thin so I...

    Sill's painted and back on.

I have managed to get my sills sorted today. They were a bit knocked about, but i have managed to bash out and fill some of the dents. They will do for now but i would like to replace them at some point. I also managed to re underseal the inner sill's, so its all turned out quite well really...

    Not a Rover, but...

I love the wheels on the p6, what are they ? The interior looks very clean. If I were there and had the space I would buy the interceptor and store it away for another day. Then buy the p6 as it looks like you could( buff that one up no problem). John candy, planes trains & automobiles. Sorry...

    Not a Rover, but...

No brainer for me, I would snap it up. If it's been in America all it's life could it have rusted as bad as a uk based car. Contact the owners club, find out the bad rot areas and then go and have a prod. I know they eat money, but what a car, even the name is great. Good luck
