I have managed to get my sills sorted today. They were a bit knocked about, but i have managed to bash out and fill some of the dents. They will do for now but i would like to replace them at some point. I also managed to re underseal the inner sill's, so its all turned out quite well really. Next on the list is to tune the engine up as it seems to almost stall when you accelerate and when you stand by the exhaust you can hear a sort of popping sound, so thats my next quest :D

All the best everyone :D

That's nice work. Sill covers are looking very smart indeed now! I know what you mean about dents, my passenger side cover sill is a mess. It had one small dent in it when I bought it, and at some point while it was being loaded and unloaded off various transporters on its journey home. I hope to have a go at knocking the dents out soon. Someone I know has offered me some fibreglass cover sills. Are these worth having?

Thanks Frazzle, If they are cheap you could give them a try, I think I have seen some on eBay in the past but I have never seen them up close. I think I would hold out for some good metal examples. If you can get nice straight ones and paint them up they do look nice. They are quite thin so I can see how they get damaged. My p6 is quite low at the back, I will have a look at your photos and compare height. I think mine could do with some new rear springs and shocks, have you replaced yours? :)

Lovely looking car... I wouldnt worry too much about replacing them as they look pretty good now i think?

Really nice looking car...! Good job on the sill covers, I've got mine to do. (amongst many, many other things). That colour really does look nice on a P6 8)

Thanks Rich, yes their not to bad, I'm just a bit fussy really. My dads p6 was always in mint condition when I was a kid, I just like the thought of mine being the same. :p

Cheers, Wasn't sure I liked the colour when I bought her but I quite like it now, ( the wife thinks it's a funny colour) I think some nice wheels would make it look better, just can't decide on what to go for ?

The rear springs and shocks are the ones that were on the car when it arrived. My car is sitting a lot higher at the back now than it was, the reason being, that the boot was full of rubbish when the car arrived, so the most recent pics of it show the car at its correct height. I think they may need attention in the future, but I'll see how it goes. :D
As regards wheels, you could always try various styles of P6 wheeltrim before changing wheels.

I had a look at some of your pics and you can see a difference in height on the two outside your garage.( it's a lovely car and from your posts I can see you've put many hours of attention into her). I have loads of tools and some spares in my boot also so I will take that all out. The problem is trying to find somewhere to store it all

I do like your extra instruments in your centre console above your gear stick. 8)

I think I might try the s trims if I can find a cheap set. Don't have much cash at the moment.
