Hi Hans, I'm from Holland myself but will write in English here as it's an English forum.

It's really annoying that all the effective stuff in paint (removal)systems is forbidden here in Holland. But from my experience with friends who needed stuff for their boats: try to get in Belgium. They're both later in forbidding things and over there, you can always find someone who will sell you the real stuff  ...

May I ask how much your painter asks for the job? And did he also quote a price if he had to do the preparation himself?

Good luck with your project !

Hi Aleph i try also write in English i can't very good but i think the most of them understand what i mean.
The painter said i must thinking about 2000/2500 euro including the paint.
How much i do by myself how chaeper it is.
I see where i have used the removal stuff i have rust on the surface and is very hard to remove that so i think it is better not use hte paint remover.

Your English is perfectly understandable.... Certainly. Better than my none existant Dutch....

Sounds like a good price, it would be much much more if you wouldn't do the preparation yourself ...

You're probably right about the removal stuff; it's probably an oxidant and rust is oxidized iron. And as we all know, our P6s are rather sensitive tp that :). By the way, are you on the Dutch Rover forum too? You can find the link ob Berry Smink's website. It's a bit inactive, I'm afraid..

Hi Aleph i tryed a time ago the dutch roverforum but it doesn't working as i remember it was an yahoo site? i.am not a computerfraek so i don't know how it works and when it is not active i prefer here the people help me good and good lessons for better English.
You have an English name? with ph at the end or isn't English?
regards Hans

Hi Hans, send me a PM (private message) with your email address (there's a PM button in the left margin of this post) and I'll explain how it works. It's off-topic here and it's easier to explain in Dutch, which isn't allowed here.

The most of parts are prepared for painter, the finishing touch he do it by himself.
I had bring the parts already to the painter and he start this week with primer.
When i have pictures i shall post but not this week because i have a job in Sweden.

That's great news Hans. Be careful of your belt buckle and any zips on your clothing when you're near that fresh paint.
