I like the idea of the Weber conversion. Ive heard of it done before, and heard they are an improvements, especially on the maintanance and ease of keeping tune etc. Was it a big job to convert it. Which carb is it and what would I need if I were to do this too, was it part of a kit etc

so what is the effective difference between running an 82, or an 88, assuming your cooling system can handle it. Is the later more economical or better heater or just more risky for over heating problems

Where do you get your thermostat from then Ron? Im guessing I should try an 88 degree as my cooling system has all been stripped and renewed but i also have not heard of this type, are they a standard thing, can I get one from halfords etc.

Today on my series 2 V8, my oil pressure gauge, temp gauge and fuel gauge have all stopped working at the same time. Clearly they are linked in some way but what is likely to have caused this. They dont seem to be covered by the fuses, or are they. Any help please.

I have the chance of getting the optional wood rimmed steering wheel for my P6 3500. It doesnt have the centre badge though. My car is already fitted with the two spoke leather rimmed wheel so will the centre and badge from this fit? I would guess they are the same, saving production costs...
