Definately the white bands. Never liked the mags on the P6 and especially not on a S1.

I have bought the tachometer from here http://www.gaugeguys.com/Smiths/classic.htm. It look very good and quite the same as the standard S1clock (Kienzle).

Hi I have gone the other way by changing a S2 dash to S1, and that was straight forward. I like the look of the old dash.
