Magstars or Whitebands?????

I have a set of white band 195/75r14 tyres which fit perfectly on my standard 3500S NADA wheels. I also have a set of Magstars that will only fit on my car with original 185/80r14 tyres, otherwise they rub the rear wheelarch. So the question is which ones? Magstars and standard tyres, or whiteband tyres with standard wheels and 'S' trims?

Which are the better tyres? If one set provides better adhesion, better braking etc in the sizes that you wish to use, then I would make that choice and the applicable wheels would then follow.

All tyres are new, and I have no idea which will turn out the best ride!

If you already have the tyres for both wheels, use one set till they need replacing and then use the other, or alternate between the two sets along the way. If you don't as yet have any of the tyres, then if it were me I would do some research on the brand of tyres that you wish use in the sizes given. I am currently using Michelin tyres and they are outstanding, but in the past I have also used Kenda and they were utterly atrocious.

Mmm. Well original wheels with white bands completes the USA as new look... The Magstars aren't strictly correct on the car... But if it was mine I'd go with the Magstars on visual appeal!
