Tiny's getting his sills done

Hi Bob I did think about it but realised that the centre pillar is still attached to the inner section of the sill & can't really go anywhere the nature of construction of the P6 base unit makes it incredibly strong even with big lumps chopped out & anyway the new bits are in & the doors still shut fine

Hi Bob that's very kind of you, I'm using a mixture between an ordinary compact camera & those disposable fellas at the minute, it took me a while to realise that you dont use them & then just throw them in the bin like the name suggests :roll: 
but seriously as & when I get them developed I'll keep sticking pics on here so you can see what's going on.

Right here's away some more pictures to bore you all with
base unit side repair trimmed fitted & primed
view from front end
Note the pressed dimples don't line up with the originals
Rear Jacking tube carefully measured & welded on & loads of black clarty stuff along the join
Inner sill & front doorstep fitted
D-Post & rear step fitted & wing & sill on for trial alignment
& again with panels removed for priming
On that last picture you can just make out the words "no panels" in yellow on the inner wing this seems to be some kind of factory thing because various other bits of the car have stuff written on them ie inside the bootlid it says something like "black car"
