The View From The Windscreen

I had to do a long(ish) day trip today for work, and i decided to take the seaside, long, way home.
The spring is officially here.

There are a couple of compensations for living in Greece at the moment then.....

I particularely like the second shot. Definitely one for our calendar!

Yes, the boat on the beach just adds that extra touch :) ,

Demetris, if I were you, I don't think I would have made it to work or back home. I would have ended up just sitting on the beach all day :D .
 
I undestand what you say Steve. After a series of overcast days, usually during winter, we feel the need to stay out basking in the sun.

But right now the sunny days are the norm, not the exception, and actually it is this time of the year you start feel better in the shade of a leafy tree rather than directly in the sun. Also perhaps it is just me, but the sun is not what it used to be. When we were kids, in the summer we could stay out playing all day long. Nothing seemed to bother us. Now, the sun seems to be rather too hot for anyone to stay out and feel comfortable. Perhaps the thinner ozone layer has something to do with this.
Anyway, since i earn my living as an agronomist, field work is common within each week, and i get my fair share of staying out in the sun. Not on the beaches though. :LOL:

I was in the P6B on the way to work at the Death Star this morning when one of those bloody Storm Trooper Fly-boys in his ATAT comes screaming across the dual carriage way!!! Damn nuisance!! They think they rule the road in their glorified ostriches, effing cheek I say!!!

Managed to wip out the hologram recorder and catch the blighter so I can report him to the Dark Lord Vader. That'll show him!!

Haha that's lovely! I think that may be one for the calendar winter months. I don't think the Dark Lord will care much about a stray ATAT report though. He seems to be on a whole other tangent these days, wrecking Swedish industry.

only thing that's missing is the actual 'www.classicroverforum.com' ? I know its obvious to computer users, but to people who dont use it much it's perhaps worth cramming it in somewhere???

I did this one on photoshop. I tried to match one of the fonts used and also added a drop shadow.
