You're right it was Street Machine - now that brings back memories.

I quite liked the P5 but then I was young then and didn't appreciate what they were hacking up. It wasn't done for any sort of longevity, hence my comment 'short lived.' I saw it about three years later with the interior hanging out and rust all over the place.

Butler's other T bucket was called 'Revenge' btw.

GT Developments in Poole, Dorset had one of those.

I was making a Countach replica with a kit which was based on one of their chassis, when the company supplying the parts disappeared (did a bunk)

GTD took back what they could use and helped me out with disposing of a few of the other parts.

When I was there I noticed this old milk float with a 350 small block chevy motor in the bed, and a jag back end.

Bit of a wreck by then, but I bet it was awesome in its time.
