Which trims do you need? I've got a stack of trims in the shed that I need to sort through..

I fancy putting the ones that are on most 3500 , mine are these and could do with some tlc

Unfortunatley not. Bugger eh? Those SD1 trims are lovely.

You can if you fit the SD1 wheels as well as the trims. I suppose it depends on exactly how much you like those trims as to whether it's worth that much bother.

Then you have to find nuts that fit or use the SD1 studs.

Sorry, didn't think before I typed that. I don't mean to bite the hand that feeds. Hoping I haven't just ruled out further helpful advice from the great sage of this forum! Grovel grovel.

I can't help it if you all keep mentioning the word I can't bring myself to say, let alone put down in print.... Once I start saying it, then writing it, and that aforementioned slippery slope could end up with me actually using the spanners....

hmmm.. not sure what word you mean :)

Didn't mean nothing H, just been stuck indoors for too long now.

Strange really as I was at work on Thursday ;)

Don't worry. I hadn't taken offence. The banter on here is one of the best things about it.

Work? Thursday? It may have been a Thursday the last time I worked, but it's so far back now that I can't remember, and I have no intention of reaquainting myself with it.

I must admit that the tool kits I have always seem to have these strangely marked sockets and spanners, seemingly sequentially numbered. I did find them useful when I rebuilt my Kawasaki though as they seemed to fit that rather well :)

Yes I've seen them. They always make me feel slightly queasy, so I tend to steer clear of them.

That may explain a few issues I had when reassembling the engine in my Rickman Kawasaki then. Whooda thunk it?

Main problem I had with the Kwakker was their cross head engine screws are a special design that our crosshead (or philips pozidrive whatever) do not fit properly. Their screws are apparently Japanese Imperial something or other, which is why we tend to destroy the screw heads so easily. Apart from the fact that they are made out of chocolate that is.
