Hello again. I have perhaps a strange question to ask.
I noticed on a few pictures of the P6 Police cars that they had a front skirt which tied in with the dropped grille in the front valence. I was reading an old copy of Practical classics today, and they said it was to keep the front of the P6 on the road at speeds of 90mph. Apparently, the weight of all the Police gear in the boot made the front very light at high speed, and they found that fitting this skirt helped quite alot.
They also said that the later 'normal' (as in non Police) 3500S's had this. Is this correct? Also, is there anyone who makes them?
I really quite like it as I think it finishes the front of the V8 cars off & would love to do it to mine.
Thank you all in advance
Jim
By the way, here's a pic
