Now having had a chance to give it a real good look over,it looks like an MOT should be relatively easy to obtain, hopefully in January.
Electrics only needed a good clean of various terminals and replace the incorrect 12v bulbs with 6v.
Brakes seemed seized, but turns out its the flexihoses that are knackered,so got a set of 4 on order.
Bought a new 6v battery and got a donated s/h starter motor,as I think the one in it is duff, either that or the new batt is duff.
New set of tyres can be fitted at the mot station.
PICCY!!!
Me and Pete both hard at it,both red, rear engined 1967 cars, and about the same amount of time off the road,,ie 22yrs!!
Petes been playing with his Imp on and off for about 22 yrs,the same as the VW's previous owner,,
Bet I know who will be finished first!
