It isn't worth the hassle -- When you get the notification -- pay up. Unless of course you will never ever visit France again.
There is always the risk - however slight - that your details (having been passed to the plod by the hire company) end up on some computer system -- years from now you...
Haven't been on this forum for a while - and doing so today -- had this bad news.
I met Steve a few times - first time was eons ago at a rally I think at Audley End. Nice chap - amazing how much stuff he could fit in the back of his van!!. Most recently - a couple of years or so ago when I...
Hi Pilkie
Have sent a pm
It was a really bad thunking from 100kms upwards. I changed the gearbox mountings (they were shot) and that improved things - thunking has gone - but the vibration is still there.
I need a good condition 3500 auto prop shaft - the one I have on the car vibrates terribly at speed.
Ideas on where I can get one? ( postage would be to Belgium!!)
Thanks
WOW - Good thing you had your camera
As for number plates - over here I have seen several cars with FKQ as the first 3 letters! I'lll try to have a camera with me for the next time
10 times breaking down - not too good. I remember when upgraded the 4 sppedgearbox to 5 speed - finished day before we had to drive to austria for a rally!

To be honest - No P6 is worth the money thats being asked for this one - Though I guess its worth what someone is...
When you search though - search under Jaguar as well. (and probably others) I have brand new boxed winguard mirrors in Jaguar boxes. Fitted to several different cars at the time.
The internet is a wonderful thing - a search results

I'll add my pennies worth
A lot of people where I am ignore the seatbelt regulations, and we have of the highest death rates in Europe on the roads. Recently i saw the end result of one of these. A car which was not that badly damaged had gone into the back of a lorry. The front of the was...
If the poster of the videos seperated "roverp6" into 2 words - ie "Rover" and then "p6" it would show up on more searches and people would also see similar films showing up.
Nice films - but get them to a wider audience - add in V8 2000 TC etc - Then it will show up in more searches
Just passed the Belgian MOT today "Controle Technique" It's a lot tougher than the UK one (from bad experiences - treat any car with a UK MOT with a pinch of salt)
Flew through pollution test and only the usual observation about "corrosion" - which here is mentioned even for the slightest...
