The v8 now has a 5 speed box, new mot, clutch, exhaust etc... Next year spray job, then she'll be perfect!! :) Kelly

Hi everyone We now have everything to do the conversion to the sd1 but cannot find a speedo drive box Mk1 sd1 (manual not electonic ) anywhere. Any suggestions ?? Thanks

Finally got hold of SD1 5 speed for our 3500s v8, saving like mad to get it fitted now! :D Anyone got any rough idea how much it would cost for this to be done, including taking the old 4speed out?

Actually after a rethink, we are keeping the colour now :) But I spoke too soon about it running smoothly, gearbox gone today :cry: Think it might be time to put in a sd1 5 speed. What do you think? x

It's not a definate yet! and it does look nice when cleaned up. We do tend to get negative comments about the colour sometimes. :( It's a great drive though and mechanically sound.

Thankyou There are some nice colours out there, but have to be a bit careful because of the colour of interior

Hi Thinking of changing our v8 from Mexica :) n Brown to maybe a corsica or scarab blue?? Still only a thought at the moment. Are these paint colours still readily availabel?

We have been told that we need a new bearing at the rear. The mechanic said he needs a special 'pulley' tool? Do you know where I could get one of these please :? Thanks

Sorry to bring this up yet again :!: But I didn't realise how difficult it would be to find a front valance for my 3500s. Wondering if I could get the current one 'done up'. It's pretty rusty though! Surely there has to be one going somewhere. I've been running around like a headless chicken...

Hi We took the rover out today as it was nice and sunny but about a mile from home noticed what seemed to be a scraping sound coming from the rear drivers side. Also it 'popped' quite loudly but definietly wasn't the exhaust but it did sound like a backfire. Has anyone got any ideas as to what...
