Hi guys, I'm looking for a tow bar for my P6 if anyone has one. Pick up would be good if possible and I'm in the Newcastle area. :D
One like this that runs along the bumper would be great...
I have for sale, various front and rear wings for sale from a Rover P6. These have been collected between myself and a friend and we do not need them now. All parts are priced at £8 or near offer and are priced per item.
Each part is very useable and with a small bit of work can be mint again...
Attended the North East Restoration Club (N.E.R.C.) yearly Classic Car show today and was greeted by 3 P6 members :D
Although it was a bit cold, there was a great turn out of classic cars for such a small show early in the year. Some great classics and some stunning P6's.
Thanks for the...
I bought this car last summer with a friend of mine, we already have a classic car each and decided to buy a car we could share. The reason behind this was so that if it was a real nasty day, and we didn't want to get our good cars out, we could still attend a show even if the weather was poor...
Ok guys, so I thought I'd let you know that I've started the refurb on my 72 P6. I say refurb as it's not really a restoration as I'm only really doing the bodywork. Anyway, I thought I'd start a new thread and keep it going until the car is finished, so watch this space. :D
First off is the...
Hi guys, I hope you can help. I've started refurbishing my P6 and have taken the o/s doors off. I stripped the drivers door down to work on it, but in the process of removing the drivers door lock, I snapped the retaining clip. Can anyone help me in finding a replacement one please?
I'm getting started on the refurb of my P6 today guys, but need to remove the doors. Can I ask which is the best way to do this before I start? :D
P.S. Also, is there an easy way to remove the door handles and locks?
Went around to a friend's house today. His wife was there with their new-born baby. She asked if I'd like to wind it. I thought that was a bit harsh so I gave it a dead leg instead. :D
Well I thought you guys would like to know that I'm about to start restoring my 72 P6 S2 but I intend to change it slightly by removing all the side mouldings and partially changing it to look like an older S1 with colour coded sills and C posts. I'll update this thread once I get started. :D :D

I'm looking to do a service on my P6 2000 SC in a couple of weeks time, and wondered if you guys could point me in the right direction for the correct Plugs, points, rotor arm, & leads please. :D
Hi guys, just thought I'd do the decent thing and introduce myself before I started or answered any threads. My name is Gary, most people call me Gaz. I've just bought a Rover P6 2000 SC last Sunday, and attended the Rover show at Beamish on Sunday the 15th May.
I'm 47, married to a wonderful...
