    Coil Supressors

Hi all. Nice easy one for a Sunday. I'm fitting a supressor for the radio to the coil and the manual says it connects to the SW terminal, but on the coil it's just marked + ve and - ve. Which would be the SW terminal ?.

    Choke warning light

Thanks for the info guys. I think I understand how it's supposed to work now, and I think the switch on the cable was removed to facilitate the fitting of speakers into the sides of the speaker housing. At 21 mpg I doubt if I will ever forget to push the choke in but I just like to see all the...

    Choke warning light

Hi all. I'm currently trying to get the choke warning light to operate on my 1975 2200 TC. It's never worked since I purchased the car. Looking in the manuals, I have one which illustrates a switch attached to the back of the cable pull, behind the speaker grille, which doesn't appear to be...

    Brake warning light

Since I bought my 2200 TC the brake dash light has never worked, either when the handbrakes applied, or as I recently found out, when the reservoir fluid drops. I've tried a known good bulb in the holder to no avail and cleaned the float tube of all the crispy crud along with the contacts on...

    Re-chroming - Recommendations ?

Can anyone recommend a decent, cheap re-chromer that would fix up my door mirror. I've had to pay through the nose already buying it because it matched one I already had fitted and now I'm being quoted over forty quid to stick some chrome on it. All help gladly appreciated guys.

    Protecting our P6's

I wonder what views members have about the best way of protecting our beloved cars from thieves and vandals is. I have no garage so she lives on my drive, protected by a good quality wheelclamp which I'm reasonably happy about but it's when she's left away from home while out and about. The...

    Replacing Interiors

Hi guys. I would like to replace my cloth seats, which have gone rotten in places with leather ones, but I suspect I shall probably have to change other interior fitments also eg. door pillar cappings, rear quarter panels, rear parcel shelf, glovebox fronts etc. due to a colour change with the...

Correct fuel for 2200 TC 1975

Many thanks John, for such a quick and detailed reply. After considering my options, I think I shall probably continue to use lead replacement petrol as did the previous owner, while I assess the availability in my area, and the car's performance. Reassuring to know that there is an alternative...

Correct fuel for 2200 TC 1975

Hi, all. Joined this great club as I'm shortly to take posession of my lifes dream, a 1975 2200 TC but I'm pretty confused over fuel. Practical Classics Magazine lists this model as suitable for use with unleaded petrol, "without mechanical modification or use of an approved additive". The...
