Can anyone recommend a decent, cheap re-chromer that would fix up my door mirror. I've had to pay through the nose already buying it because it matched one I already had fitted and now I'm being quoted over forty quid to stick some chrome on it. All help gladly appreciated guys.

Hi, problem here P6loopy is we dont know where you live. I personally had some work done 16 years ago on some bike parts by a firm in Chesterfield called "Zachrome" 01246/450387, and they are still in tip top condition and price was cheap (offer to pay cash and try to collar an employee before going to offices) 
Try going to 'BT' web site and on home page go to directory enquiries (its free). Put in 'Electrplaters' and the town your in. It should list all those near you and then you start ringing...Good luck with your quest.
