Hello All Again, Seeking advice, On removing the rubber rear door shut seals I've discovered that the small channel section that fits along the rear bottom edge is totally shot and I need to replace this small 'S' shaped section each side, Is this obtainable or will I have to try to fabricate...

Yes thats the very fella, sits into the gearbox held in by a retaining clip, I take it theres some kind of oil seal too then cable connects to it, I have cables by the way, Thanks again, Keith.

Hi all I need help sourcing a speedo drive for my 5 speed conversion, It was done before my time and has never worked, When I finally got round to investigating it seems that there are bits missing down there, it has an orange drive with 20 teeth but its damaged at the other end and has no oil...

On the subject of SD1 gearboxes my P6 has one fitted and the speedo drive at the gearbox end has been botched and stripped, I'm now looking for a drive pinion / transducer orange with 20 teeth to get me through the MOT and on the road again, Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks :roll:
