Wheel alignment

It is 40 on the V8s, not 100% sure on the narrower wheels though.

Minilites for the P6 are 30, which in my mind affects the steering, but that may be just me.
 

ET phone home

I am trying to work out the ET (Offset) for my Vitesse wheels and have measured the distance from the outer rim to the mating face at 56mm and the inner rim to mating face at 136mm. So 136 + 56 = 192/2 = 96 less the 56 = 40 So the ET is 40. The Miniltes work out at 123 and 65 - ET = 29 :shock...

Forgot to mention earlier .... Many years ago (70s) I had 2 TCs, and one had nasty heavy steering. On advice from a specialist I packed the top pivot mounts on the bulkhead to reduce the caster - the mounting face on the bulkhead had depressed. Initial packing was excessive - lost all self-centering, very scary test drive. Something around 1/16" restored the self centering, and lightened the steering nicely.
