As most of you will be aware I spent a good 4 months of last year in hospital being treated for Leukemia, despite my poor initial condition the treatment progressed well, remission was established, and I have been fine since September, I was last tested in February and all was well.
Following the build up of a few symptoms, I decided to have a blood test yesterday. This test established that the Leukemia has relapsed, with most of my blood counts being low.
I must now return on Monday to have a bone marrow test, to establish the nature of the Leukemia and decide on further treatment probably including bone marrow transplant. There is still plenty that can be done, and I must remain positive.
The support I received from forum members last year was overwhelming, and hope it is not too much to ask for you to say a little prayer for me again.
Best wishes to everybody.
