WANTED...! Aerial please...

Hello to one and all... My 1974 P6B needs an aerial as I do believe an unfortunate carwash castrophe has rendered the one that is on it now somewhat crooked...! If anybody out there could help me on my quest for a straight aerial it would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks in advance...
 
You could try going to Maplin or the likes and look for an aerial.

The base has a grub screw and the retractable bit pulls out.

They crop up pretty regularely on Ebay second hand. I'm pretty sure NOS examples are now extinct.

is close but not quite right for the P6.

That's not the right type although it would do
The proper one has a circular base held together by a big slot-head screw

hi thats handy to know i ve one of those in my stock pile so they are the ones fitted from new then, i will hang onto it , but to be honest i dont really like it , but thats me to fussy

I've seen them advertised somewhwere but can't find it
It might be in Classic Car Weekly where there's a half page advert of various accessories
Unfortunately I don't buy CCW , just have a free read while in Sainsburys
