Now then folks,
Been loitering round here for a week or two in the build up to getting the P6 delivered (just learning a bit)
and now shes here thought I'd introduce myself properly!
Bought this beaut from Rugby the weekend just gone!

47000 miles, solid as granite and apparently known to this very group according to the P6ROC sticker in the windscreen and various newsletters that were in the glove box!
I'm proper chuffed with it, all except the clutch slave cylinder which went on the drive home but all in all shes in grand shape and I'll keep you updated as she takes shape!

Very nice.

I've never seen a chrome or S/S strip on a Mk2 bonnet before though? I wonder how they manage to fit that?

yea i know that mine is a series 1 but got the mark 2 bonnet on it for the time beening till i get the series 1 bonnet painted i will try and have a look at that see hows it fixes

Is yours a manual or auto gareth?
Scrub that,just read and seen you have fitted a 5spd so its a 3500 not a 3500s!!

Gareth, he has a Mk2 bonnet with the strip from a Mk 1 on it. They are different shaped bonnets, and I was just wondering how he got it to fit?
 
hey yea mine is a 3500 with a sd1 5 speed box so no its not a really 3500s but wot the hell its got the better box i think

yea i would like to know how they fitted cause i know they are different shape at the front might have a try it on mine till i get the mk 1 bonnet painted up ( just aint got the money 2 do it yet ) then i can tell how he did it hahaha
 
It was on there when I picked up the car but there is evidence of grinder action, so I'm guessing its just been bodged and self tappered on.
