Here are a few screen caps of The Gaffer's grotty P6. A few people asked about it in another thread so here it is in all its glory.

fantastic bringd back lots of memorys
on a sader note just done a vehical check on dvla for the "gaffers" rover and its drawn a blank :cry:
 
I've noticed that they used at least 2 different cars both with the same reg. no. :shock: the one he pulls away from the house in & travels to work has a series 2 grille & bonnet with silver wheels & no wheel trims but the one he pulls up in when Ginger makes his comments has a Series 1 bonnet & has wheeltrims :? HOW SAD? :roll: in a couple of episodes they used that car in the story & it had a series 1 grille painted black, I was tempted to make a replica with the white ringer I had but instead I stripped it for parts

The character who said "Magic our Maurice" was Selwyn Froggatt
He was a clumsy oaf played by Bill Maynard in a brilliant YTV comedy
Another quote,from his screen mum was "Don't open that cupboard our Selwyn,things fall out "
What did Selwyn then do?....open said cupboard...cue many laughs..loved it as a kid :D :D :D

ehl 660l -which was a brown v8- one reg up from the gaffers,,,,,was used for many donor bits, for the rebuild of my v8...

trouble is,it wasnt that bad.. :cry:
