I keep reading this thread and viewing the link each time, and the more I do the more I convince myself that this car was in a garage I know at least 3 years ago, if not more. The year, colour and Rostyles are all as I remember it, and it had come in after failing an MOT on rot all over the bulkhead area. My mate who owns the garage was in the panel shop at the same Main Stealer as I was, so is more than able to fix it if he so wished, but he looked and decided it was going to become far too involved as a viable job at normal repair rates, and so as he's not a charity he turned the job down, and it then languished outside in his yard for months, before finally finally disappearing.
Like anything, it's do-able, but only viable if you can do all the work yourself, and even then I'm sure there are better examples out there to use as a starting point.
