Hello!

I'm looking for a vacuum controlled heater valve for my 1970's Rover 3500S NADA. My car has air conditioning. On the back of the heatervalve were a vacuum hose and a cable connected. Because of the connections I would like the original unit. Does anyone have a tip for me?

Thanks to Keynsham 1 for the useful images.

Greetings from Germany

I think I replied somewhere else, but the valve is a Ranco unit. The replacement is a GM product off 70s and 80s vehicles . HQ holdens used it from memory. They are cheap on Amazon and various other places, do a image search for GM Heater valve and look fo one with the same wet end, the plastic bit is just a steel cover with a tube coming out of it.

I have now installed a heatervalve from 4seasons. It has no capillary function but works quite good. I have paid € 52,-. The part number is 74604.
