Hi everybody, just got back from our Saltaire show, didn't think I was going to make it but I felt ok this morning so we went.

It was a great show, weather was pretty good except for a short shower later on, but the sun came out again. Good turnout with over 50 cars, a good selection of Rovers from P2's through P3, P4, P5, P6 and a couple of modern 'ish 200 cabrio and 800 coupe, almost a full set !

I did spend most of my time sat down, and it decided to rain again just we were leaving, so I only got a couple of photos of the P2's and P3's.

I was a little disappointed, was hoping to see Sparky there !

Sorry Richard, I was asked to give my little sister away at her wedding yesterday in Dorset. I only got back home at 5.30pm today.

Sparky was invited too and made a very good wedding car.

540 miles, didn't miss a beat

Richard.

PS Let me know when you are feeling up to it, I'll take you out for a spin if you like.

Bit of a feable excuse but I'll let you off :D

Ooh, a run out in Sparky sounds like fun. Thanks very much.

We might be heading down your way soon too, looks like I'll be having my transplant in Sheffield, Leeds is full.

The burgundy one in the first pic will be up for sale shortly, owner is having eyesight problems :(

Will be interesting to see the asking price, I know they can go for serious money well over £10k This one has won a few trophies recently.

Unfortunately this is how much P3 you get for that sort of money...

There's more there than you'd expect though isnt there. Whilst it's in bits and obviously not running It doesn look a basket case?

I'll have to save up :D

Rich

Oh it's not a basket case at all, I've got all the panels, the rest are in the garage, they're all in good condition but obviously require paint etc.

The body and chassis are also both quite good, if I sprayed a coat of grey primer over the lot so it didn't look so patchy, you'd think it was a decent car mid-restoration.

But there are still several years of work ahead on it :D
