Hi, I am new the forum and to rebuilding cars! An I was hoping someone could help me, now that I have plucked up enough courage to post on here
I have a 1970ish Series 1 3500 V8 that I am trying to put back together. I have most of the body panels for my car now, and I thought it would be a good idea, before the really bad weather sets in to put the windscreens back in the car. (I think they have been in the boot of the car since 1982, which is when I was born!!)
Now I have been looking on the internet for some help on getting the screens back in, but so far I have not found anything that will help me. I have the Haynes manual, but that isn't really helping me that much
What I need is some pictures of the brackets (I don't know what the proper name for them is) that hold the screens into place, as I cannot seem to get my head round them. An to make life harder, the middle bracket I have for the car is completely different looking to the one in Haynes manual.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to a website or even post some pictures of what theirs looks like that would be lovely!
Thanking you very much for any help you can give
