Hey guys, anyone have a pic of a P6 that crops up now and then- it's a blue series 1 v8 with flames painted down the side?
I've seen a few pics of it elsewhere but I can't find them now. If I remember correctly it had some interesting modifications. Is it still around? Anyone on here wn it even?
Thanks! :)

I presume you mean this one?

This is the only picture of it I have in my files but there is this video on Youtube.

I think this passed through Rich Moon's hands & I believe the set of alloys I bought from him some time ago came off it. They are blue/alloy & will share duties with the Revo's on Bruiser when I've painted the blue bits black. I saw a picture of a Ford Falcon with wheels that looked remarkably similar to them & AFAIK it was a factory photo.

Yes that's the one guys, thanks!
I've only ever seen the back end of it, but it looks like its got some interesting restyling going on with the front wings which I really wanted a closer look at. :)

You have to wonder how it got through the MOT with no number plate light?

I took the rear bumper off Thunderdog and had to cut a hole in the boot lid, make a box to fit the number plate and sink in into the boot lid. Then, in the top of the box, I fitted a couple of SD1 number plate lights.

Good point on the numberplate lights. Wonder if there's some age related rule that means it doesn't require them?
I smoothed the back end of my old P6 and sunk the numberplate into the rear valence, running it without a bumper. It looked okay actually.

Still have that back panel somewhere...

Really like that frenched rear valence, might do something similar on the coupe. Could easily fit a few LED's in the top to light it up if necessary.

On my old convertible I moved the number plate under the rear bumper, but left the bumper in place and used an old Chevette number plate light under the bumper.
