OUCH (& ouch again)!

That is good news Phil

Well done for keeping at them. A lesson for anyone else involved in a rear end shunt.

By the way, I was looking though a back issue of P6 News and came across the article announcing the arrival of Hazel into your family :D

I'd originally wanted to call our daughter (now 18!) Hazel, but my wife wasn't keen, so I had to wait a few years for the appropriate time

Great Result Phil!

Not many people manage to get a car removed from 'The Register'

..mind you it should never really have ben placed on it

Agreed, they either jumped the gun putting it on the register or like I hinted originally, they hadn't yet and didn't after your many calls
Glad you got there if not slower than you'd like :)

It was actually put on the register, because a DVLA 'vehicle enquiry' (still :? ) shows it as requiring a V I C (category C - vehicle identity check).

I was told on Friday pm it would take around 24 hours to clear, so that should be today, not counting the weekend.

MOT booked for Wednesday morning, so it'd better be OK :x

This is superb news... A happy ending finally... It's just a shame it took so much effort on your part to sort things out. A lot of people would've just accepted it and nodded their proverbial heads and I suppose that is what insurance companies expect from the general public... Well done sir, a battle well won...!!!

Excellent news Phil, I guess in the end they probably liked the idea of the reduced payout, and it probably cost next to nothing to have it removed from the register.

Good news all round !
