Hi everyone,
I have just taken ownership of a 1935 light 12. She joins my other car which is a 1953 Jowett Jupiter. My intention is to join the club and meet up with the rest of the members based in the North West. I live in Congeleton Cheshire.
I already need some help and advice. The gear change has become very stiff and its difficult to engage gears through the gate. Are the selectors easy to adjust? Also, though the car starts well, when its hot it can become difficult to restart. Engine turns over fine but will not fire up. If I leave it for 5 minutes or more it then starts. I have enriched the mixture a little and the engine at cold start ticks over ok. Is the fuel vaporising any ideas.
Regards,
Tony
