Hello Adam. I'm in Nottingham too, there are a few P6's in the area but I've not seen yours about, have you had it long?

I remember seeing your car on Sunday but didn't get chance to speak to you. Looks like a nice one though, why were you thinking of selling it?

His evil girlfriend forced him to.

Ha ha... Funnily enough I was thinking of selling, but after Sunday I couldn't bring myself to any more. I've decided to keep the car, the evil girlfriend is no more... :D. I've only had Jinx for a couple of months Paul, I can usually been seen making lots of noise around the Daybrook/Arnold area. Where abouts in Nottingham are you? Are there any fairly local meets?

Quattro - I've been avidly reading your rebuild of Sparky, can't wait to see it come together again... I'm a big fan of lunar grey.

I'm a big fan of Monza Red 8) - Sparky may very well be Monza when painted

Nice chatting to you on Sunday, good news that you are keeping the car and best of luck with your indicators.

Richard

Thanks Richard, it was good chatting to you too. The indicators worked after a couple of minutes on the road, but are still slow/stopped on tick over. I'll swap the flasher unit and see what happens next. :?

I'm off girlfriends for good, they just don't understand how important it is to have a V8 in my life

Hi Adam,

It was good to meet you on Sunday (another Monza Red 3500S owner). Very glad to hear you have decided to keep your car. A good move!

Hi Neil,

Likewise, you clearly have excellent taste! What was the name of the other guy with the Red 3500s on Vitesse rims? The one with the hat and shades? I kept trying to catch him for a chat too but kept missing him.

Oh and the green trainers are here for a while too Richard, otherwise nobody would recognise me!

Hi Adam, I'm on the other side of the hill down in Colwick, I'll keep an eye out for you though.

There is a P6ROC meeting at the Fox Inn which is in Kelham near Newark on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. There's sometimes a local Hot Rod club meeting there on the same night too so there can be some interesting cars in the car park.

Excellent! I hope the Rover is back by next tuesday though, it's gone for an MOT and little bit of work at MH Annables. If there's Hotrods there too I'll be in my element! (You may gather from my user name!) If I can't get over in the Rover i'll have to do the walk of shame across the car park from my work-supplied modern Cackmobile. Hopefully see you there.
