Hello everbody
on this excellent website and helpful forum.

I would like to introduce myself quickly.

my name is Richard from Salzburg (Austria).
i had the luck to grow up, starting in 1970 in the age of 1 year, with (in my opinion) the
most beautyfully, exotic, nice , different and greatest car ever, the Rover 3500S NADA. My father owned 2 of them in the 70ties to the mid-eighties.
So, there was never a doubt for me, which car is my dreamcar and which car i will buy someday.
Through the whole Rover Love I became a friend of the U.k . an a fan of british cars, especially Rover's.
For 10 years now i am a proud owner of a Rover 3500S Nada.

regards
Richard

Hiya Richard

Welcome to the forum. It's always nice to hear stories of P6s from overseas. We like to see pictures of the cars too so when you get a chance could you post some pictures of you 3500S NADA.

Dave

Thanks for welcoming me.

Here are some pictures shot in the summer 2010 in Salzburg.

regards
Richard

New members - Richard and sage green NADA

thanks.

Sage green, MK1, NADA and old LandRovers, I believe.
Most of the time I love this colour.....well, Zircon blue would be cool...yeah..

on sunny days, in the shadow. the colour looks great. like a green bottle without scotch :)
on cloudy days, the car looks like a military vehicle, green-grey, can not find the parkking car :)
at 12 o'clock, hígh noon, brutal sun, the colour looks terrible, not my taste,
so, most photos shot in the shadow. :)

regards
Richard

Welcome Richard!

I thought it was Aden Green at first. Sage Green is extremely rare! And with a pale interior as well, very classy indeed. You may have noticed that there is quite a following for NADA's on this site and in the UK in general!

Chris

hi,
like chris said, a very rare colour. the common one for that era is arden green. i am colour blind, so don't know, but have a feeling most would have thought it was arden. i have a white NADA, imported from california, superbly rust free and a joy to work on, apart from the air-con, you need baby's hands to get in there.

Hallo Richard,

Gruß nach Österreich :)

Super, daß Du hier jetzt auch Mitglied bist !

Rüdiger

- sorry for writing this in German - :D

Thank you.

It is really a pleasure to share my minds about Rover P6 with you. (sorry for my bumpy english)
you have to notice, in Austria, classic Rovers are rare. Maybe I see 3 cars (MK I, MKII cars) in a year. (live)
In the last 10 years, I just have seen only 1 NADA (in natura, live) and this was my own car. :) haha
The last other NADA car I have seen was in 1984, at the age of 15, I dismantleld my fathers 1969 tobacco brown NADA.

@ chrisyork.
yes, I noticed the positive spirit for NADA-cars on this site. great.
the pale ambla (sandalwood) interieur will be upholster in real leather (sandalwood) in England the next weeks. I hope so.
