Hi just purchased my 1972 P6
From Auckland. I'm in Wellington. I took the risk and bought site unseen and had it transported the 600km.
I must admit I was expecting problems but was pleasantly surprised. It's straight as not even a ding. Original paint, seats squabs not worn, only tear at the top of rear seat backs. Also has good chromed set of rostil wheels.
Motor is giving consistant 50 psi oil pssure and not a puff of oily smoke from its tail.Has current registration and warrant of fitness. All good to go.
But but I can't help myself, I am going to take all the panels off and remove minor rust spots and repaint.
Currently has apricot with tan interior. I'd like to change to red . What's the thoughts on this.????
That yellow car is my just about completely ground up restoration. 1974 jensen healey
