Hello there, Am new on here. But I have had my P6 since 1987. I am looking forward to communicating with other P6 owners. My P6 is Lunar Grey,Sandelwood interior, it has done 59850miles from new! Thanks. moon rover!

Hi There Quattro. Thanks for replying. I can see theres loads going off on here! Wow! 3 P6b,s you must be a glutton for punishment! I do have some photos but will have to get help getting them uploaded. The reg of my rover is TRR891L and am only the third owner in 37years! She is called Rosie The Rover! Bit corny I know, but thats what the children named her when we first got her in 1987. I live in the Stocksbridge area. Regards moon rover! .PS glad you like my username.

Welcome Moon Rover! Good to have you aboard...and Rosie too of course!
I find the best way to post pics is to open an account on an image hosting site (such as Photobucket) and upload to there first. Then copy the image code under the picture directly into your post.
Let us know how you get on...lots of friendly help on here!

Hello ghce. Thanks for replying to myself. Yes you are right to say once you get the P6 bug you can,t let go! What set me off goes back to 1966 when as an 11year old I went up to my local high school. There at the side of the secretary,s office was a brand spanking new Rover 2000sc in british racing green LWA 517D. 1st time Id ever seen one! My father at the time had a Austin Westminster. I hankered my Dad to get one, he said "WE can,t afford to by one of them!" " Anyhow there are classed as a poor mans Rolls Royce" Anyhow a few days later my Dad turned up with a brown paper bag inside was a box. It was a Corgi model of the Rover 2000! Which I still have! The seed was sown and jump forward to 1986 when I got my 1st P6. Series 1 Old english white black leather interior reg YRA406G. My daughter christened him Hector! Sadly only lasted 10 months Hectors base unit was so badly rotten that there could only be 1 thing to do but scrap him ! :cry: However all was'nt lost I took everything off that was servicable before Hector went to the scrap yard Doing the dismantling learned me how these P6,s go together
