My series 2 auto P6 2000 as at 8 Feb 2010

Here are some photos of my tax exempt series 2 auto P6 2000 taken yesterday. I Wish I had a double garage like Pilkies to keep it in. It is only in the garage at the moment as the cant rails (gutters) are leaking then its going back out in the cold again. Poor thing!

Just thought the photos might be of interest to someone!

Cheers

I guess you all spotted the problem from the pdf. Anyway here it is. Yes it's the gutters! Cheers Tony Bunting

Yes it's amazing as it is excellent everywhere else. You might think it had been upside down rear end lower in an exceedingly large salty puddle! It's being sorted at present as is already looking much healthier as shown by these photos

AND grim68 I forgot to mention that you cannot be far from me. We are meeting on Tuesday 11 May at the Case is Altered, Pinner, Harrow. See North West London meeting under meetings in the forum. Will you be there? Cheers Tony Bunting

That looks miles better Tony! Back in time for the next meet? I'll just shed a brief tear for the unfortunate donor.

Looking good :)
I may pop along later in the year, unless I get my car looking more presentable by then :)
Always too busy to do my own car

All the weldings done and roof is back on. What is being done underneath comes later.

Cheers

New gasket for rear screen jack, seam behind rear wing needed re-sealing, rear inboard brake pads a tat thin, hope those pistons are ok, and rusty brake pipe needs repacing. Duncan is good at making up brake pipes so all should be well!

Hopefully just the offside lower strut assembly, the BW35 gasket, rocker cover gasket and the de-dion tube seal left to do. A working replacement heated rear screen went in while the other one was out because the roof was off.

Cheers

Here's the shot bottom link assembly and the BW35 sump pan. The magnet is going where it should before the pan goes back with its new gasket! The gasket has been sitting on my wardrobe top for 6 months wondering where it was going. At last its time has come.

Cheers
