Hi, my 1973 p6 3500 recently failed its MOT on numerous points, one being that the rear fog lamp did not work. On closer inspection of the light, it appears not to be wired up at all, I can find no relevant connections/wires leading to it. It passed its last MOT like this I'm assuming, although I didn't own it then. Then again I'm beginning to think that the last MOT was dodgy, or the tester was blind.
Does a car of this age need to have a rear fog light? If I take it off for the MOT will it pass?
