A little T-cut and some air in the tyres and she'll be good to go

Now now. At least stuff some newspapers in the sills and fill the D posts with isopon. If you're going to do something, take the time and do it right :D

Oops!!! Silly me for forgetting that important restoration technique  Now you've made me feel like I was trying to cut corners :?

Slackers, you forgot the Fablon door skins and some cheap Ebay sports seat covers. Bloody bodgers the lot of ye.

John.

If I drove a P6 without air conditioning in that part of the world I dare say $400 for a complete air-con set-up wouldn't be a bad buy? Got to admit it looks pretty far gone as a restoration basis though!

Looking at the photos again, the only corrosion I can see is the bottom of one of the front doors. Even the shot of the D post looks more like dirt than rust. Now in the UK, that would be excellent news - a corrosion free base unit - what dreams are made of! We're far less worried about all the soft bits as rusty donors with decent interiors are still reasonably plentiful. So unless there are unseen horrors lurking beneath, that would genuinely make a good project over here.

Seriously, if I was in the market for a rebuild, I would have bought that car.

What's wrong with it?

Richard
