How many classic Rovers does any enthusiast actually need?

I do feel I can get an authentic drum sound out of the steering wheel and dashboard
I suspect I'm not alone in that either?

I've never quite understood buying more than one car the same.

Hence, for me, one P6 is quite enough. I do own 4 cars though, but from 3 manufacturers.

Each one is totally different in design and purpose though ;)

I can understand it with the P6 in terms of S1/S2 & 2000/2200/V8.

Though that could count for many other manufacturers too. People do become addicted to a particular marque, it seems.

I've got 4 cars from 3 manufacturers. Between them, only two have the same number of doors, or engine configuration, number of seats or drivetrain layout. And those aren't the same cars sharing all those attributes. :D

Diversity is the spice of life

I tend to hang on to my cars for years,I just dont like parting with them. I have noticed though that the amount of cars I have tends to expand to fit any available parking/storage spaces.

A green Series 2 3500 (nearly ready) to replace the one I crashed.

A blue Series 1 3500 that has been judged by the Wizard of the Lake to be an unpolished diamond with bags of potential - potential for him to make pots of money and potential for me to have a lot of fun with the car.

I will need these two as cover for Ethel, who needs a refresh after a gruelling few years.
