holley carb throttle linkage

right we have sourced the cause of occasional misfire in the car to a leak in the plenum so thinking to kill two birds with one stone we have managed to pick up a nice new offenhauser plenum and holley 390cfm, went out today to start working things out for the upgrade and i have spotted a few problems, firstly is the throttle linkage as the new manifold doesnt have the second mounting for the throttle linkage bar, so how do i get throttle control basically from the fire wall area to the carbs as will have to remove this bar i presume, what have others done in the past?
the second concern i hadnt factored in are the two sender units on the stanard manifold i presume the top one is temp what is the second one? and wat to do about these as i have no hole in the new manifold for them any advice please!
thanks again,

The top one is the choke warning switch, the one at the front of the manifold is the temperature gauge one.

My car has the Edelbrock (Weber) four barrel carb and offenhauser dual port manifold. When I bought it there was a cable from the now unused kick down arm on the throttle bar to the carb. There is a home made braket to hold the cut off throttle bar, as in pic below.

I will be trying to tidy this up with perhaps a rose jointed bar system, but have other things to do at the moment and this set up, although a bit Heath Robinson works vey well.
