I bought myself a Rover P6 1972 model TC that has been of the road for 35 years. It was sold new in Sweden so it has seen road salt under its life. Let say there are some welding to do to correct this issue... This is of course a LHD car but my brother owns a 1966 SC RHD sold new in UK. We are now renovating this two cars together. Many nice conversations over skype to solve issues we face.
Thanks for the answers I got on my questions on brakes on my Rover.

Happy renovating s from Sweden.

Welcome aboard my Viking friend.
My grandmother emigrated to NZ from Stockholm just before WW2 ,so I am part Viking. Owning a Rover with all those strange men on it ,is my longship.
This webpage has a wealth of knowledge and all the answers to any questions

Velkommen! My V8 spent15 years in Sweden before making its way across the border to Oslo, then to me in 2010. All the best with your restoration efforts!

Hello,

Welcome and greetings from The Netherlands. I’ve also got a 2000TC since last May, it’s a nice car to work on.
Good luck with the welding, I thought that Sweden didn’t use salt on the roads ?
