Hi there
I have just joined the Rover Club as I have been offered a P6 2200. I am hoping to view the car tomorrow. It is a 1973 model, lunar grey colour, owned by a 104 year old man and it has not been driven for the last 4 years - just kept in his garage. He was the 2nd owner (after 6 months) and it has covered 97K miles.
I would love to buy this and restore but relly don't want a mega prject to undertake so am asking for advice as to the key things to look for when I visit tomorrow. I am under no pressure to say yes or no tomorrow but owuld ideally like to know if it's a definite no-no!.
So, I would appreciate anythings anyone can recommend in terms of where to look for rust - I am presuming this is likely to be the main issue.
Thanks in advance and maybe I'll be a proud P6 owner soon.
thanks
Chris
