Hello from Alberta Canada.
I'm just starting restoration of a 1970 2000 TC. This car was bought in left hand drive configuration in London UK before being brought over to Canada by the previous owners parents. The Car was driven until about 1979 and parked for 5 years. The previous owner then got the car running and started to collect parts and panels. He drove it until 1986, when he had the heads removed for reconditioning and conversion for unleaded fuel. The head was never put back on. Engine and gearbox will be pulled soon for inspection of the bottom end and parts replacement as required, then the rest of the engine will be put right. There are a few dents to be pulled before respraying. I'm torn between the original Arden Green, or the Zircon Blue colour my Dads 1970 2000 TC was. Both colours suit the car well.
All rubber is in need of replacement including suspension bushes. Anyone have any comments on poly bushes?
Here are some photos.
