headlight washers

My 1975 2200TC has washers on the headlights (covering all 4). Was this an optional equipment, or special export version (sold new in Sweden)? Anybody who can explain how I dismantle the washer arms between the lights?

This was an export only fitting, I am pretty sure sure it was for the Swedish market only so it is rather rare. I think you might just have to have a play with them because I don't believe they were covered in the workshop manuals.
Love to see some pictures though!

Wow! Thanks for the pictures, that certainly quite a complex bit of kit. How are they operated? Do they have a separate switch or do they work through a combination of light and wiper switches? Is there another motor on the other side or does the cable drive run right across the front? Are the washer jets mounted to the grille? Sorry about all the questions, i've just never seen one of these before.

The motor is on the right hand side, behind the cover in the picture, and with a cable drive to the other side. With the grill in place, they are almost hidden behind the plastic grill. I haven't tried them yet, still working on the restauration. But I haven't found an extra switch, except one with a red light that must be the heated rear window. So I guess it works on a combination of light and windscreen washers. I'll explain when I have tested it.
