headers

Do the "block-hugger" tubular manifolds I've seen advertised fit in our cars? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they will not. (incidentally, my '98 range rover 4.6 has a really sweet pair of {factory} stainless headers..... )

I have seen an ad on flea-bay for stainless headers to fit an MGB before, but I can't recall details. They were close to the block
for clearance, though and looked nice.
Why not go on over to www.v8forum.co.uk and ask the guys on there. They stuff Rover V8s into some tight engine bays.
I just took delivery of a '99 GEMS P38 Rangie 2 days ago and the manifolds are rather tasty, but they won't fit due to being rear exit
as opposed to the required center and down exit on the P6. It has some perplexing electrical gremlins that need exorcising, though...o_O

I have the toyosports stainless block Huggers but they don't seem to be advertised anymore. Worth emailing them direct I reckon. Otherwise I seem to remember Pop Browns does some..
John, I sold most of the top end, ancillaries and headers from my gems engine and made quite good money back, not far off what I paid for the engine complete
Jim

I mailed them a while back - they said they list them every few months so worth setting up a saved search on ebay

Surely if there were enough takers, there almost certainly would be just from members on here, they could knock out a run of them and list them all at once?

Mine come from JP Exhausts but I think you have to buy them from RPI. You do need to modify the OS Engine mount as they will touch it. I did once get a pair from a chap called Mike-The-Pipe, but that was many years ago.
