ive not even moved house yet but ive already started to fill my garage with stuff!
so far ive managed to aquire -
A pillar drill for £50
A Clarke 170T welder for free
A big hefty vice
A load of marking out and measuring gear
My Fiances school is moving sites and due to the nature of design and technology these days they are moving away from the traditional metal and woodwork and more towards product design so they are getting rid of some kit, more iritating is she only mentioned it in passing "i got offered some stuff by the DT department today but I said you wouldnt be interested...." (so shes had to go back and grovel!)
its a shame I haven't got the space (and a three phase supply) as I can get a lathe and a Mill for less than a £100 for the pair!
now ive got to find a workbench and some racking (might just get that from ebay), paint the floor, sort out some lighting, make the door locks more secure and we are ready to go
