FEK, prices still on the up!

I'd have the first one just for the Father Ted number plate
Mango looks so glowing and vibrant, not sure it wouldn't be too David Dickinson for me every day though

I love the Arden Green one too! but Blimey 6000 quid! nice to see it there as the P6 deserves it.

That's not Mango - it's Sandalwood!!!

Mango is box pleat, from November 1973 on...

This is a bit like my 1964 with London Tan seats being mistaken for Mango a few weeks ago...it isn't, although London Tan (a staid early trim colour) is not far off!

Beautiful car...well worth the money IMHO.

Sorry  took their word for it 'A very attractive P6 finished in arctic white with huntsman roof and sills complimented by the rare mango interior.'
I'll trust my own judgement next time
Still too much for me first thing in the morning

Actually it's me who should apologise - I didn't see the third car with the apparent mango. I was looking at FEK. And quite blinded by it, what a nice car...

FEK is the only F plate v8 i've seen apart from my own...

Here's another one

Unless this is yours? :)

Nope - that's 3 i've seen now ( in pictures or otherwise ) - this one is mine....

PAE 622 F.

Looking on the DVLA site, FEK was first registered 2 May 1968. That's a fairly early car..

This was outside my house a few weeks ago, collecting a spare radiator:

FEK is registered before mine according to the dvla site. Would be interesting to see if Rudiger has this on his database! Previously he said mine was the oldest genuine v8 on uk roads. not sure if thats by chassis number or registration date. would be interesting to know!

Rich.

The car then passed the MOT, still with the original Avon cross ply tyres!

Wow, that series 1 must be rare! It's the only P6 to be fitted with cross-plies from the factory!
That most be a bit dangerus? How did it pass it's MOT?

Our 110 passes with old crossplies, it's only a visual check. I don't think the test takes into account the age of the tyres....as yet anyway.

Burnt Grey!
It's amazing how many Series I V8's were this colour when you look at the production records. Not a common colour at all now. Lovely car.

How do people expect to get decent money for cars with such atrocious photos? You can't possibly make a call on the condition of that car from those pictures. :x
